Delverton Resorts

Mui Ne, Vietnam

Residences, Hotel, and Amusement Park

Master Planning + Design

Delverton Resorts is a large-scale, mixed-use coastal development located along the shoreline of Mui Né, Vietnam. The project brings together residential neighborhoods, a resort hotel, and an amusement park within a single, cohesive master plan that responds to climate, topography, and the existing coastal landscape.

The planning strategy organizes the site into distinct but interconnected zones. Resort hotels and shared amenities are positioned closest to the shoreline, maximizing access to views and public beachfront spaces. Residential areas are arranged along the contours of the land, stepping back from the coast to preserve sightlines while creating a quieter, more private living environment. The amusement park is centrally located within the site, acting as a shared destination that anchors the development and connects the various programmatic elements.

Architecture throughout the resort draws from regional forms while remaining contemporary in expression. Low-profile buildings, pitched roofs, and deep overhangs respond to sun, rain, and prevailing winds, while open plans and large openings encourage natural ventilation and a strong indoor-outdoor relationship. Materials and massing were carefully considered to balance durability in a coastal environment with a sense of warmth and human scale.

Landscape plays a critical role in shaping the experience of the project. A network of water features, pools, and planted terraces weaves through the site, helping manage grade changes while reinforcing a sense of continuity between the built and natural environments. Pedestrian pathways connect residences, hotel amenities, and entertainment areas, prioritizing walkability and reducing the visual impact of vehicular circulation.

The resort hotel and spa areas are designed as places of retreat, organized around courtyards, water gardens, and shaded outdoor rooms. In contrast, the amusement park introduces a more dynamic and energetic layer to the development, with attractions embedded into the landscape to minimize visual disruption and maintain a cohesive overall character.

Delverton Resorts reflects an integrated approach to large-scale resort planning, where architecture, landscape, and program are developed together. The result is a destination that balances leisure, living, and entertainment while remaining closely tied to its coastal setting and regional context.
