This project was a full design build transformation, taken down to the studs and rebuilt as a cohesive whole. We reworked the structure, layout, and systems to open the house to light, landscape, and daily use, while keeping the architecture clean and restrained. The kitchen, living, and dining areas were unified into a single open plan that flows directly to the exterior, blurring the line between inside and out.
Material choices were deliberate and minimal, warm wood cabinetry, simple plastered walls, and carefully framed openings that bring the surrounding greenery into every room. The pool and landscape were rebuilt as integral parts of the architecture, not add-ons, creating a series of outdoor rooms that extend the living space and anchor the home to its hillside site.
As a design build project, every decision was made with constructability, clarity, and longevity in mind. The result is a modern home that feels calm, grounded, and effortless, where architecture, interiors, and landscape work together as a single, unified environment.
